Sidewalk Toronto

ABOUT THIS PROJECT

Daily tous les jours mandated Robocut Studio for the fabrication and electronic conception of the selective knobs of a Generative Map station, which allows users to learn about the processes of urban planning and imagine various scenarios for the future city. People are invited to experience the challenges of building a city; to learn, to contribute and to feedback.

307 is the first office and experimental workspace for Sidewalk Toronto, tech and urban planning partnership made up of Alphabet’s Sidewalk Labs (SWL) and Waterfront Toronto. Inspired by the way people transform cities, Daily tous les jours imagined the ground floor of 307 as a public lab for the future of urban life.

* This project was commissioned by Alphabet’s Sidewalk Labs, in collaboration with Waterfront Toronto.
