ABOUT THIS PROJECT
In collaboration with the International Balloon Festival of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu and halo creation, Robocut
Studio developed “ In the air down on the ground,” which is an immersive augmented experience in virtual
reality where the viewer is asked to take place in a real hot air balloon basket. The basket is installed on an
interactive platform synchronized with the gentle movements of the virtual universe. This gives the viewers
a real impression of being in a hot air balloon experience, floating across the magnificent Richelieu Valley.
This immersive activity takes the viewer in the aerial trip of an impressive hot air balloon tour while keeping
both feet on the ground.
