RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the responsibility of the technical director, the project manager manages the different phases of a project and acts as the main contact for the different stakeholders. He determines the issues and needs of the project, manages its implementation and ensures excellent collaboration between stakeholders.
TASKS
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- Answers and manages incoming projects (phone and info @);
- Determines the budget and produce the quote;
- Participates with designers in the process of ideation, creation and development that meets the needs of customers project;
- Evaluates prototypes, design, new components, raw materials according to manufacturing process constraints, to meet design criteria;
- Organizes and coordinates the various tasks and resources required for the production process for all phases of the project, within deadlines;
- Coordinates and shares the progress of the deliverables to the various stakeholders and the team and puts in place solutions to eliminate the gaps;
- Approves the work done by team members when each stage of work is completed;
- Ensures the mobilization of his work team in order to maintain a favorable climate for the development, creation and achievement of deliverables.
- Establishes or optimizes working methods and processes of his team that are adapted to meet the needs of the project.
RELATED TASKS
- Participates in archiving projects (writing reports, customer satisfaction survey, post-mortem);
- Participates in different team meetings, if his presence is required;
- Proposes studio management solutions;
- Related administrative tasks;
- Any other task to help the team.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Relevant experience in project management;
- Approximately 3 years experience as a creative project manager;
- Ability to coordinate several projects together with deadlines;
- Excellent sense of organization;
- Good ability to handle stress;
- Resourcefulness and autonomy;
- Ability to evaluate and manage priorities;
- Excellent team spirit;
- A developed sense of leadership and proactivity;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Have an outstanding customer service;
- Rigor and attention to detail;
- Experience in digital fabrication, interactive installations, robotics and/or electronics;
- Experience in budget management;
- Availability to work evenings and weekends during exceptional rush periods;
- Ability to read plans;
- Knowledge of Rhino software, Adobe Illustrator, In Design;
- Proficiency in French and English, both oral and written.
JOB LOCATION AND DURATION
- At Robocut studio, 5425 Casgrain Avenue #704
- Contractual or full-time possibility
- Probation period (6 months)
- Salary to be discussed based on experience.
